Kansas State and the University of Kansas have been partnering around digital humanities and, thanks to the work of Casey Hoeve (KSU) and Brian Rosenblum (KU), have started a new Digital Humanities in the Heartland listserv (DHITH).
From Casey and Brian’s announcement:
“I wish to share with you some news about a recently established partnership in the digital humanities between Kansas State University and the University of Kansas. As a part of this partnership, we are seeking new avenues to expand awareness of the digital humanities in the plains region (portions of Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas). To accomplish this goal, we have created a new LISTSERV, Digital Humanities in the Heartland (DHITH). The DHITH LISTSERV seeks to act as a link between institutions, scholars, and independent researchers, where DH related topics (conference/event announcements, tools/publications, pedagogy, research, and general DH questions) can be announced and discussed for the purpose of enhanced visibility and potential partnerships among the digital humanities community.”
