• Seth van Hooland and Ruben Verborgh did an online tutorial for DCMI/ASIS&T in May ago called “How to Pick the Low Hanging Fruits of Linked Data”. It was based mostly on their book “Linked Data for Libraries, Archives and Museums” (available from Facet) — they’ve promised me a review copy, but I haven’t received it yet. They mostly work with OpenRefine; I demoed one of their extensions at the 2013 TCDL unconference event. See http://freeyourmetadata.org/ for information about what they do.

If it weren’t on Saturday, I’d sign up for the workshop. I think the extensions they’ve developed are great.
