The Texas Digital Humanities Consortium (TxDHC) works to promote the digital humanities in Texas and to connect the people who are doing or interested in this work for purposes of networking, collaboration, and mutual support.
TxDHC activities include:
- fostering awareness and conversation about digital humanities in Texas via our website, occasional emails and (soon) newsletter
- organizing virtual and face to face events, such as training sessions and (mini-) conferences
TxDHC is a member-driven organization, so we welcome your questions and ideas about directions TxDHC can pursue. Contact Lisa Spiro (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We welcome new members. Membership is free. To join, simply apply for an account on the TxDHC website, which is our main communication medium. If possible, please provide your professional email address.
The consortium was organized in 2014, with faculty and librarians from University of Houston, Rice, Texas A&M University, University of Texas at Austin, University of North Texas, and the University of Texas at Arlington as founding members.
